Elena Margaritis born June 11, 1960 is an accomplished musician that has performed live for over 48 years. She is most recognized as a soulful, powerful lead singer, songwriter, composer, arranger, keyboardist and exceptional harmonizer.

Elena has been singing since the tender age of 5 years old. She has the ability to learn a song just by hearing it a few times and has a 3 range octave.

Growing up she took beginning piano lessons for a few years, but singing was her real passion. She played 1st string, second chair clarinet, but dropped out of marching band half way through her freshman year in high school to join choir, her true passion (1974). Trading in her clarinet to pursue her singing aspirations. Which paid off since she made the top choir and ensemble all 3 remaining years of high school. This allowed her to perform at nursing homes and other venues and inspired her to participate in solo vocal competitions throughout the state of Arizona. She was involved in three school musicals that gave her a taste of performing in front of large audiences.

In 1978 she auditioned for a music scholarship to attend the University of Arizona and was the only female in the entire state to receive it.

Playing piano accompanied her in creating the original songs she composed and arranged. She was only 17 when she wrote her first original song “Keep the Faith.”

Her musical influences are Steely Dan, EWF, Toto, Michael Jackson, Luther Vandross, Russ Taff, Michael McDonald, Queensryche, Hall & Oates, Journey, Heart, Pat Benetar.
